G2 RKT Reverse Kingpin 180mm Longboard Skateboard Trucks Longskates are exploding, everyone's figuring out that longboard skateboards make a great off season trainer for surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and they are way more fun for cruising around than street skates (no offense here, we love our street skates). We call these longboard trucks, but don't be afraid to rock them in other uses occaisionally, we've seen reverse kingpin trucks rocked in parks, pools and lots of banks.
Because of this growth you will see many new "reverse kingpin" trucks entering the skate marketplace. These trucks are more suited to longboards than traditional trucks for certain uses. They tend to have a higher baseplate & hanger height, which allows for larger wheels with less chance of wheelbite, and they tend to be less prone to speed wobble when bombing hills.
Our G2 RKT trucks feature the best of all the above with solid geometry and construction, great for your cruiser longboard or a cruiser/mellow hill bombing combination.
*Note, please don't use these trucks for serious downhill skating, they are not designed to hold up to the kind of sideloads placed on a truck at speeds over 20 MPH. If you are looking for a longboard truck for carving at speeds higher than 20 mph, we recommend the Randal RII trucks
